Hey Len. Are they still gonna hold the Track Attack?
PM me next time you guys get together for a run. I'm by Sandy Hook. Always up for driving this beast.
Cape May run sounds good to me.
Hey Frank - my TA session was canceled and rescheduled for July 8th. I sent you PM about GT350 meetup group.

... This was the first ride together to the Hawk Nest in Upstate NY on the twisty mt. roads where three states are join they borders NY, NJ and DE...
I am a little confused by this geography. NY & DE do not share any border, although both share a border with NJ and neither border upstate NY.

Yesterday six of us with GT350s went riding up in the mountains. I agree this car is special.

I was confused by the geography as well. I think he meant NY, NJ, PA

I meant to say PA instead of DE. The Hawk Nest road goes along Delaware river though. It's around Port Jervis, NY.

My 2019 GT350 is perfect. We have had many good drives in the mountains.

Check the Region sites here.

Thanks for the posts guys, I was pretty confident that I was not alone in my assessment and love so far for this car. Regarding the comment about the BOSS302, you might want to watch this video if you haven't already. It might explain your feelings for the 302. Would love to drive one some day....

Anyone know why they designed the angle like that one seats to where the knees sit higher? I do like how they lowered the butt area which gives one more headroom as all the other Mustang seats sit too high in my opinion where one has very little headroom.

The recaros have that low but, high knees orientation.. some like it, some don't... One guy said he keeps losing all his pocket change.. LOL
When I test drove a 2016 track pack I did not like the recaros as I had to slide the seat back each time to get in and out -- over the heavy bolstering on each side. For a dedicated track car that is ok, but a street car it was a bit much for me. I also liked the leather with alcantara and the heated/cooled feature.. had those seats on my Calif Special vert and loved it...

So glad you started this thread !! Last September I bought a brand new 19R. Due to some traveling and the NJ winter I was only able to put 45 miles on the car before I had to store it for the winter. Those 45 miles were on OEM cup tires on cold winter days So I had to baby it.

Fast forward to this spring. After finally getting the right set of wheels to replace the OEM carbon fiber wheels, swapping out OEM brake pads and installing the Caliper Flexion stud kit, today was the very first day I was able to drive the car for my enjoyment.

I left my house with 52 miles on the odometer and came back with 82 miles showing. During those 30 miles I did not stop grinning/smiling/chuckling!!!!!

I was already aware of the lack of torque in the lower RPM range so that didn’t surprise me.
But, when I got this thing past 3500 RPM, the exhaust is screaming and the car is still pulling up to 6000 RPM I couldn’t stop giggling and saying WOW!! It’s such a different animal than the Hellcat and ZLE, it’s different in a good way !!!

The 350 is the composed, well dressed, well mannered assassin!! The Hellcat and ZLE are the loud, intimidating killers who want to kill you at all times.

I can’t tell you how much fun I had driving the 350 in JUST 30 Miles!!!! I can’t wait to drive it again tomorrow.

You want to talk about getting attention??!? On my way back home I stopped for gas, some dude in a late 90s mustang, which sounded like it had a huge motor in it, was courteous enough to give me the right away.

After I made the turn into the gas station, that dude did an 80 foot long burnout down Main Street !!!!!

I also had someone else in a Subaru doing some spirited driving behind me while I was in the mountains.

Talk about attracting attention !!!

so glad I stuck with my search and didn’t give up on getting one of these cars !!! Totally worth the hassle and aggravation of searching and dealing with greedy dealers !!!

Great wheels on that R! Are those the sv902? Would be great to get the full specs. There are a few of us getting Heritage Rs debating our alternative wheel set.

Thank you for the compliment.

The front wheels are Vibe 350R replica wheels in R spec size.

the rear wheels are the project 6GR replicas in R spec size.

wondering why I have two different sets of wheels on my car?

Well, I didn’t think I would mind the minimal caliper gap the project 6GR replicas are infamous for in the front.

Once I installed them on the car I did not feel comfortable at all with the possibility of chewing up my calipers and the inside barrel of the wheel so I took them off the car immediately and bought their two front R replica wheels.

I kept the project 6GR in the back because I love the concave look they gave back there.

my front 6GR replicas are up for sale now.

Thanks so much Alain. As replica sets go, I think you've absolutely nailed it here. The contrast between the deeper concave look in the rear against the flatter fronts is arguably better than stock. The offsets look bang on.

It's a great car. I have 59,000 miles on my 2017. About 20,000 of those miles are my wife. It's "our" daily driver (and we have a kid who goes in/out of the rear seat 5-6 times/day on average).

By the way, aside from the wife, we have two other friends who would agree, and so would the people that stopped to snap photos of our line up this weekend....
