I had a message in the Ford App yesterday that my inclination sensor detected something on the M1 and set the alarm off. I had to look up what that is. It goes off in someone is jacking up the car or trying to tow it. The car was safe and sound but that was scary. Anyone else had a false alarm like this?

I had the car alarm go off when I jacked the vehicle up for an oil change. Unlocked the car with the remote and alarm went off. I don't recall if I received a notification from the app.

Yes, I also got that same false alarm after 3 months of buying the car. My car was parked inside a closed garage so no one tried to jack it up or tow it. I haven’t received another one so it was definitely a false alarm.

Cool. Thanks for the info. It was a little scary as I was at work and nobody was home. Who knows what could’ve really been going on.

As part of my local Mustang MCA Club, I was allowed to take one lap on the 26 degree bank at the Monster Mile NASCAR track in Dover DE.

Afterwards, I received warnings on my dashboard.

I guess it thought I was in a possible rollover and/or accident.

Afterwards, It took a several start-stops and a few miles to reset it.

The Ford app was not loaded on my cellphone, so no warning was received.

Thanks

I've managed to set the alarm off (enhanced security package) with the jet wash and the buffer, but I can remove the back wheels without triggering it ...
