Some people have received a $1000.00 rebate my mail or email.
I called and was told is according to marketing research ....Blahh.....Blahh.....Blahh
I received it, in my mail, my email ends with .mil so I dont know if had to do with it.
Also i call HQ about the rebate protection. It is super easy tell the dealer to call them.

My dealer is telling me the private cash offer in the brochures can't be protected :frusty: What exactly kind of rebate was your dealer able to protect :shrug:

The way I understand it, the private offers from Ford are one of the few things that have to be respected even if used in conjunction with other offers whether that be $1,000 rebate or X-Plan... At least I hope so. I want to get one of those bad boys and use it with my trade-in and incentives.

Locking in Incentives

OK, so today I called Ford Protection HQ (877-296-9427) and spoke with a lovely lady named Molly. She said that on the Private cash offers those can be protected in a sense, even past the expiration date. Basically if your Private Cash Offer is for $1,000 and at the time of taking delivery Ford is only offering rebates of $500.00 then $500.00 of your Private Cash Offer can be protected. In essence you are guaranteed up to the value of your Private Cash Offer. At the time of taking delivery you must have your original brochure or email with the offer and the offer ID # and program ID #. ALL dealers have a website they can access to lock in this value. If your dealer insists this cannot be done or refuses to try then just call Ford HQ and speak with a rep and then put them on the phone with your dealer. Per Ford they must honor this if requested by the customer. My hopes is that when I take delivery most likely in October that Ford will be offering larger rebates so this issue will be mute.

I know you can use your private cash offer on top of the EAA. Not sure what others or all of what can be stacked besides those two.

Did he mention if your Vehicle is in route and expected within a week to ten days they can do the Purchase & Sale Agreement using the last day of the Private Cash Offer. Sure you will loose a week to 10 days days of Warrantee coverage of the 3 year/ 36 months (but) you will secure the Private Cash which will more then compensate for that.

If I were to do this, would I officially own the car even before I see it, so that even if it's in bad shape somehow I'm obligated to take delivery? And would I be responsible for having it insured as of the day of the dealer locking in my purchase date, rather than the date of vehicle pick up? Thanks.

I am going to call my dealer to see if he can get this locked in for me and will update you on what they say.

Hope this will help some of you and I really wish that all of these extra incentives either come with a longer expiration date or they can all be locked in (I undersatnd the marketing aspect of using these to get people who are on the fence to actually purchase, but I also feel those of us who buy early and actually sell many cars for ford while driving them early should be rewarded)

I downloaded the 2015 Mustang brochure (only one avail at this time). Where would the rebate be located in the .pdf? I also asked for mail version of the 2016 brochure.

Actually when I reviewed both items I realized they were the same offer with the same certificate #. I posted earlier that if you take delivery after these expire they can be protected by your dealer when you take delivery. Ford will protect the difference of the offer minus any current rebates at time of delivery.

I got snail mail brochures a while back and one had a coupon but it expired. I've ordered more. I signed up online (twice) like SC Ruby but no luck...
