The offer you get after registering is the same offer # that comes on the brochure.
Right, I have the brochure, so I don't need the offer, but I'm just curious. Are you registering as an owner before getting the car? What if you don't take the car? Or if you register after getting the car, how do you use the offer?

My VIN # is assigned to me as it was ordered as retail order on x plan and my window sticker has my name on it. I really don't see anything that would cause me not to take delivery. If you already have an offer from a brochure it would not provide any advantage by registering as an owner before you take delivery.

Because if the car arrives with QC issues or doesn't arrive on time you're screwed. Why buy it before it arrives? Having the incentive protected is actually easier and less risk.

I`m protected and can always walk from the Deal as I never put up more than $500 Deposit to Special Order my Vehicle which I have in writing is fully refundable. If your doomsday situation possible occurs, I refuse delivery, abort the Financing and either order another Vehicle or look for a Dealer Swap. All these "locked In Promotions are well and good (but) I would have a written Copy verifying the locked in Promotion. Trusting your Salesman or Dealership GM is simply fool hearty! All well and good as long as your Vehicle arrives (before) the expiration date of the Cash Back or Private Cash Back Promotions. Wanna risk leaving $750, $1000, or more on the table with some assurance that those Promotions will be locked in and (saved) beyond the Expiration Date? Go for it!:D

When the dealer calls and talks to Ford Protection HQ they will walk him through the process. I spoke with Ford Protection HQ directly and was reassured that they will protect it even after the expiration date. What Ponygrrrl said is correct make sure you have the phone number and call them yourself then hand them the phone. Because of this forum and the knowledge that is so freely shared more often than not we as customers know more about the process and what can and cant be done then most dealers. Trust your fellow forum members

If you have your VIN # go to the Ford website and register as a Ford owner and you should get a welcome email. Mine had the same offer as the brochure did. Worth a try
I've registered both my new '16 and my '10 and neither time did it give me a private cash back offer. I guess you got lucky. I'm going to try one more time with my son's Fusion's VIN.

EDIT: Nope. Just registered the Fusion and no private offer. Maybe I'll get the printed brochures by mail this week and get lucky. Was the offer in your email or on your registration page?

If you get a response let us know and post it haha but I completely agree. I would feel like a dick calling protection HQ after the dealer says it can't but done but whatever it's worth it:lol:
This was their response:

"For any questions regarding specific programs please see your dealer."

:frusty: Hopefully my dealer can get it straightened out.

It was on the web page after I registered and logged in. It was at the very bottom right below the offers for discounted Ford Service under Additional Offers. Hope you get your brochures in any day :headbang:

I must have gotten lucky, I called about 6am PST and spoke with a woman by the name of Molly and we had a conversation that lasted 10 - 15 mins and she was very helpful and answered all my questions and explained the process in detail. Hope it all works out for you at your dealer

I got a private cash offer, but I "must take deliver from dealer stock by Oct 2nd". I suppose this means I cannot use the cash offer if I order a '16 mustang now because it will not arrive before then?
