No Rebates?

Got a text from my sales rep this morning (my TY is supposed to be here any day now), saying that there are no rebates available for the S550 so the dealership was unable to include my $500 off for being a Veteran.

I smell BS. I've seen enough threads about other rebates and offers from Ford to assume they're just trying to price me out.

Those of you who have used rebates, was your dealership cool about it? Do you have proof I could show mine? I feel like I earned my Veteran discount. The $500 Act of Kindess coupon that got passed around a few weeks ago would be nice too. All of this especially since they're beating me up on my trade.

Advice M6G? I live in WNC, dropping the order and moving along isn't exactly my first option...

There are no rebates available for the 2015. Only on the 2014.

Military appreciation bonus cash... But you can't combine it with xplan however if the dealership offers one, you can use it

The EAA $750 rebate appears now to have been changed into Ford Partners X-Plan!
Last week, the $750 rebate (good to Jan 3, 2015) was still available...I was able to generate a rebate certificate good til Jan 3. Today...no mention of the rebate, instead an X-Plan page.
The $750 rebate was on top of any other X-Plan.

I had a private cash offer for $750, but my dealer would not honor it. It did not specifically exclude the mustang, but the stipulation was that it must be used on a vehicle to be delivered by 9/22/14. (No 15's out at that time).

I think different people get different dates... I've seen a few different ones mentioned as part of this "private cash" deal. Maybe I'll get another one? who knows.

Hmmm, I should call FORD CS maybe I can get them to extend it.

If you're going to offer a discount to a customer based on WHO THEY ARE it should be blanket. If VETERANS get $500 off there should be no limitations. Either you're keeping with the spirit of supporting Vets or your not.

This is what has me very unhappy today...

Its like many other businesses where you simply cant not combine certain rebates with discounts.
