With the new S650 having the highest downforce of any Mustang from the factory to date, there has to be some big changes right? Well one of the changes is actually somewhat small and might go unnoticed to most. On Dark Horse and Performance Package models, underbody strakes come with the vehicle to help with not only cornering but straight-line speed. See how you're able to get the same performance benefits on your S550 in this video!

"Fits 2015-2023 models with slight modification" yeah maybe you should specify what that modification is???

I'm guessing you have to cut back the bellypan. The M1 has a rather large underbody pan that goes back a ways, so probably have to cut a fair amount.

Or perhaps it makes more sense to lop off the L from the parts and just mount it flat against the under pan.

I might pay $75 for the set, but definitely not 2x that price.

It's a Ford part, that they are reselling at MSRP. Which would be fine, except that you can find dealers selling them at $105 all day long. Come on Steeda, you guys are just reselling this. Cut the pricepoint or make a chinese copy and undercut the market by 50% and sell them for $75.

Just installed them on my 2017 gt pp1
And yes, bought for $105. It’s a kit with both sides and 10 screws
No modifications needed whatsoever. Just have to drill 4 holes per side for the screws. 650 already have clips for the screws to screw in

Will this still fit if we have the Steeda Ultralite g-trac brace installed?

These are minute fractional improvements to the overall aerodynamics of the vehicle. Do not expect measurable increases from this one modification alone. That being said there are likely 0 downsides to this modification other than your slightly lighter wallet.

Do be careful though as these are not legal aero mods in some classes of racing. For instance in the autocross class I race in I'm allowed a massive rear wing and front splitter, but I can't modify anything aerodynamically on the under body between the axle centerlines. This is primarily designed to prevent flat bottoms for better aero or super long diffuser tunnels, but these strakes also get swept up by that same legislation.

Anyone know if all the flat under panelling from the S650 will fit the S550?
