so, likely a 10k ADM? or maybe 7500 or so.

Hard to tell in the pic but if I had to guess those are leather recaros. So 700A + HP + red calipers and if it’s loaded with elite package and nav msrp is right about $65k. Still an adm for sure.

Pretty car but not worth ADM like all the other ones on the lots. What kills me even more is HOW they got it on their lot not being a custom order for a customer? I know the answer I'm pretty sure.... employee X acted like customer, ordered Mach 1, dealer has it now for inventory to jack up the price.

Did I win?

I wonder what kinds of metrics Ford has to limit that kind of thing... I'm sure there are certain behaviors that make it obvious when a dealer is doing that, especially if it happens often.

I seriously doubt they go in and check the employment records to see if that person is a dealership employee. I think it's more of a morality issue of the dealership than it is Ford checking the orders.

no auto, so it can't be more than the recaro option price more than mine, which was 62885 MSRP (thank God for Granger pricing, or I would not have been able to order what I wanted), and that was what, 1500 or so? 64.3k or so? yeah, still an ADM, not as bad as I implied/thought, maybe.

Did you get yours in before the price hike? This one might have the new pricing which takes it up another $1500 or something like that?

I didn't mean looking into who actually ordered it, necessarily, but I would think it would be noticeable if the car didn't actually sell to a consumer very quickly and sat on the lot for a while. Especially if that became a pattern at any particular dealers, it would have to raise some flags for Ford.

... All that said, from my understanding, the whole no-dealer-inventory-orders thing is a relatively new initiative from Ford. It seems possible that this dealer was able to legitimately order this car a while ago.

Same dealership I ordered my black non-HP at MSRP - this is at least their 3rd "inventory" M1 at Ken Grody. They must have ordered it at the same time I ordered mine (2440).
