Getting ready to trade in my car and wanted to take off my oil separators for my new one. As I was trying to get it out, one of the plastic expanders broke off the passenger side one.
Would I be ok having just one or trying to jerry rig using a plastic wall anchor for screws?

Ha. I did the same to mine. You’re fine to use. You can also buy replacements at AutoZone
Haha it makes Me feel much better knowing you did as well. How would you replace? Looks like it’s molded into the plastic of the Norton piece

Not sure I’m following. The plastic push pin broke, ya? Should be able to buy a replacement

No? The expanded piece (circled) broke off and seems to be molded

Oh fantastic! I thought it was molded to the piece, since the the upper part of the pin I was able to save

Forgot to say that if you contact FP they can send one to you also that is OEM. I know because I've broken and dropped them onto the undercarriage aero tray.

I am not sure which one of the pins you are missing, but when I was mounting mine I just used the pin that was originally holding the wiring in place in that spot and used that to mount both the wiring and the oil separator. That way I didn't have to tie up or tape the wiring anywhere else.

It’s the pin for the wiring

Ah okay. So the pin you lost was the one that originally attached the wiring to that same mounting spot? Or did you relocate the wiring and use the new pin that came with the oil separator for that spot?

I relocated the wiring and used the pin that came with the separator for that spot.
So you’re saying the pin holding the wiring in is long enough to use so I don’t need to relocate again?
