It's at the dealership getting a cracked intake manifold replaced, steering wheel being replaced due to bizarre wear, and replacing the clear plastic over the tachometer.

I am fucking losing my mind.

Addict. Complete and utter addict. My car completes me.

Driving this loaner POS Focus that my big butt can barely get into and out of without tearing my head off, that stinks to high-heaven inside, and that has the power of an exhausted hamster with 3 legs........is killing me.

Jesus, I'm having withdrawl symptoms. I saw a GT Track Pack on my way to work, and almost cried.

Turns out cracked intake manifolds are a recurring theme with 2015-2017 cars. Evidently Ford has a new part# replacement.

I hope to God I get the new one.

I had a broken runner in the intake manifold too. Problem presented itself as a CEL that read "misfire in cylinder 8." They had to replace the entire intake manifold.

I felt the same way right after mine was totaled.. I felt like i lost a friend. lol

I'm guessing that's my situation too. I had two misfire codes, on cylinder 8 and "random".

I've got a call into my service advisor to ask more questions to clarify.

On the serious note.... I hope the problem is resolved quickly (intake replacement and etc.)
I go through the same experience every winter, when I have to put it away.

Never heard of the intake manifold issue, good to know.

I feel your pain, although my rental is nice (Fusion Titanium). Every time I see an S550 for the next 3 weeks I'll be in pain, just like I was last year. :doh: The withdrawal is real. Hope they get it back to you soon.

I may have cracked my stock intake manifold too, when I tossed it into the dumpster.. Boom!
