You have a weird idea of a good sound image. I like to have the sound coming from in front of me. You obviously have a rear music image stage. Most people set thier music stage image up so the music sounds as if it's perfectly balanced between your ears and slightly in front of you like a concert.

You're under the assumption that the pics of the eq weren't done to elicit a comment on it (such as yours) 😉...
Also the visual representation of the screen doesn't accurately represent the staging bc of the factory eq is shite. 👌🏻

If you add a sub you'll then have to address the ANC noise issue if you don't have the factory sub. I've not seen anyone who has that sub with filters inline.

Like so many people I have been left wanting just a little more from the stock (9 speaker) system so after different issues in the past and reading posts I kinda deduced that the only speakers that are easily replaced are the lower door and rear deck speakers bc the system will make weird noises if you change the ohm rating.
I'm not likely to get an 8ohm or other rated ones for the tweeters, so that leaves me with the 4ohm speakers. I hate the eq and it's center staging eq with has highs in the front and lows in the rear. (Even the 12 speaker rear coaxial aren't good)
I ordered a pair of kicker 6-3/4 w-way speakers from Crutchfield

to better balance the eq. And NOW I'm cooking with gas. Everything plopped in place (plop sound not included, must supply own fx) without hissing, whining, or other noises.

They fit in without modifications, just need to tweak the eq again. after that I think I'll be happy with it for a while.

Just thought I'd share the info considering Ford did not make it easy. Now on to the other things.
Did you get the sound improvement you were looking for? I feel the same as you. The rears are lacking.

I did the sub replacement and it tightened the bass up quite a bit. I am thinking these might be the ticket. Not worth doing much more IMO.

It did help, but since it's getting a factory signal they can only help so much . The front/center staging EQ is the problem imo.

Oh well. I am done.

Sounds great. No need to waste my money on more. Unless I change the whole system. And that's not happening. You can only improve the sound so much in such a limited cabin size. I will let others keep the audio guys in business.

Hi. I replaced my door lower,/upper speakers with Infiniti speakers for OEM sucked. What rear deck speakers did you install? I guess the rear seat has to come out?. Was their any issues removing it?. Thanks

Rear seat bottom, side panels, and upper shelf have to come out. Honestly about 5 minutes and it's out. The first time takes longer.

I went with the Powerbass rear deck coax speakers per a recommendation. I think they are pretty good.
