I have my ford mustang 2018 50.lL manual transmission my original powertrain control moduel has fail
I changed with a used one from same car ..
But i have found a problem
That the powertrain gives immobilizered can not start
Does vcm 3 can reprogram the Powertrain moduel...???
Or any one konw have a solution
I make a search on web the best device can do it
It's vcd 3 but i need to know this device can do it please

You won’t be able to do it yourself. Along with the VCM3, It requires Ford IDS and a login to verify you’re a legit Locksmith or technician. The PCM and BCM are paired along with the Key data. If you got the used PCM, BCM and keys from a similarly optioned vehicle, you might be able to get it working.

I can't get the bcm now just the powertrain
But if i can buy a ford ids and make an account and login with my account online does vcm do it

According to his info, he has a 2018, it shouldn’t be past the 5/60 yet...but my guess is since he’s overseas, probably difficult to get a Dealership to work on a Mustang in his area... true?

I‘m also not sure if the BCM would be covered under the 5/60, can anyone confirm?

no, you actually have to be a locksmith or technician. lol. It’s a certification process that checks a national database and cost a LOT of money.

If I reprogaming the key the problem solving or I have to program the ecu
Course I found device can program the a new key but I don't know if it can start again
