So I have a 2019 gt premium convertible. My driver door won't unlock from the outside or the inside buttons. The only way to unlock it is to just use the handle on the inside then it remains unlocked. The driver door handle touch still works to unlock the passenger side. Also the door will lock with no problems.

Here's where I'm confused I already replaced the door lock actuator. And while it was open i inspected all the wires in the door. Put it all back together and the problem is still the same.

Also since this it's a convertible it has the electric locking center console. It stopped working the same time as the door. I think it must be related some how.

I would be very appreciative for any advice on what to do next. I'm stuck using the key fob to roll the windows down or going through the passenger side. And taking it to a dealership is the absolute last resort.

make sure there is no corrosion in the harness for the door motor , switches in the door. and check the pins to make sure they are not pushed back and not making contact. sounds like the issue might be on the driver door side connectors. you can try using a voltmeter to see if it is sending voltage when you press unlock to the door lock actuator.

Is it possible that someone attempted to break-in using a 'slim jim?' Even legitimate attempts to help during a lock out can catch wires and mess up connections.
