So I installed oil pump gears 2 weeks ago. Car ran fine. Drove it home from the shop I work in let it run for a while no issues. Drove it a couple times and no issues. Went to the end of my road, let the clutch out and it died. Won’t start. Went back over all the wiring nothing unplugged. All I have is a p162F code. Fuel pump module maybe? Thank you in advance

Did you do the crank relearn procedure too after the OPG work?

I did not I didn’t know I had to? So how do I do that I have an nguage tuner?

Check the pdf in this linked thread; any time there is major engine work or trans work performed on the S550 5.0, the Dealer Service Tech (or DIYer) is supposed to do a crank relearn procedure.

Also check this link if you have a n-gauge for crank relearn:

Unplug the battery and let it sit for a couple beers worth of time.
Haha yea I tried that too I’m kinda lost. I didn’t do the crankshaft relearn after the opgs but it was running fine after that. Don’t think that should cause a no start

A while back, my 2016 EcoBoost refused to start after I'd parked it. Turned out to be a bad low pressure fuel pump. It failed with no warning....... It's easy to check if you have a bi-directional scan tool. You need fuel, air, and spark to make the engine run, I'd start with the basics. Lack of crank relearn should not cause a cranks but won't start issue........
