A whole page and no body trotted out "that'll buff out"?

Agree that's too far gone. It'll work harden if it doesn't just tear first.

Maybe you'd like to visit Matt's emporium of wheels and make a selection?

I didn’t know Matt had an emporium. :cwl:

That sucks. Pennsylvania is worse than maryland.
I remember years ago for some reason driving on a back road in northern Baltimore county and the already crappy road suddenly got so much worse. It was like driving from West Germany into East Germany. I asked my friend what happened and he said we just crossed into Pennsylvania.

Well,
Suffice to say, my heart breaks for the families who have lost loved ones at the bridge.

You should file a complaint with the MD State, Town or County Traffic/Road division. Send images and ask for reimbursement of all damages.

The roads should be maintained (isn’t that what tax payer money is supposed to go to) and if that pothole was as big as it sounds, they should be fixing it so what happened to you does not happen at all…. Because the damage it caused is a safety issue, if your tire blew out at speed who knows what else could have happened…

Driving on I75 in Detroit a couple years ago I saw a bmw, a Lexus, and two other cars with their left front wheel ripped off from a pothole. They repaired the pothole. A couple weeks later the pothole reopened and claimed my left front shock.

Completely agree. However Colorado's cracked up infrastructure isn't much better.
I think the state of MD will be a bit preoccupied with a bridge collapse rather than a pothole causing bent rims though.

This is one of the reasons I don’t run 20 inch rims or 35 side walls. I run 19 inch rims and 40 side walls all around. We got plenty of big pot holes out here in Cali
Temecula/ Murrieta is pretty good at repairing them. Hemet, Perris and Elsinore, not so much...:explode:

You'd think California roads would be decent, given that we don't suffer extreme changes in the weather. But they're surprisingly bad. I don't remember the roads in Indiana and Chicagoland to be any worse.
All the rain we've had lately has not done our roads any favors.

Before anyone tacks on something they will later regret... Tragically, it appears that the six men who died were a road crew fixing potholes on the bridge.
