They let my help the service tech install my splitter. Showed him the video on this forum. They had 4 GT350's and one R. They sold the R on same day I bought mine.

I'm in Georgetown just north of Lexington.

Ahh okay. I live in Louisville but am around Frankfort and Versailles pretty regular.

I paid them to do an oil change when I had my oil line recall done, they changed the oil.. then did the oil lines.. thus draining the oil they just put in. To add insult to injury they left it a quart low.. this was after watching the tech damn near remove the entire undertray to loosen the oil filter. Finally the service manager came over and assisted.

Wonder what the R went for? My salesman and his assistant left when the owner left and bought Lyons Ford. We will have to meet up sometime, my best friend has a 350 and I know a couple more locals with 350's.

Yeah, let's definetly meet up sometime. I've seen 2 GT350's in passing in Lexington an OW and AG.

I initially was seeking LB but ended up RR. Any color is awesome in this car.

Is Ceramic Coating on your list?? If so it should be done asap. I used CQuartz UK for my Black Stang.....what a freakin difference.....deep, deep glass shine! Get the wheels does too, Brake dust will just rinse off!

I got CeramicPro 9H Gold Pkg on whole car, all glass, wheels+calipers for around $1600. The Gold Pkg has a 10yr warranty.

Keep in mine this does almost nothing to prevent rocks/debris from chipping your paint. It gets expensive in a hurry but I got entire car wrapped in Xpel ultimate prior to the CeramicPro.

Well, after 2 years of crazy relentless research on the Shelby GT350 I finally purchased one last Saturday. I have watched every youtube video, read nearly every post on this forum, every single day. So I want to thank all of you who posted all the information and pics about this car which made me become obsessed with it! I have to say this car is absolutely amazing! It's even more amazing than what I expected and I had high expecations! Instead of measuring mph it's sph (smile per hour)

Now on what I bought, I bought a 2017 Race Red with electronics package, stripe delete, and car cover with 2 miles on the odometer. I drove 4 hours to get it.... that was a fun 4 hours back home!!!
I haven't slept much every since I decided to pull the trigger, like a kid at Christmas.

I haven't driven a manual in 17 years, but this car is a breeze to drive. The exhaust note, power, and the handling is unmatched for the price! I'm a car guy, but never owned a performance car... always practical vehicles. I read all the magazines and watch all the car shows I can. Yep... I'm a car nut! Yes, I like to research. But never jumped in to make a purchase. But this car lures you in and I couldn't stop thinking about it. With the encouragement of my wife I finally did it.

Sorry for sounding so crazy about this car, I can't help it, I love it! It really looks better in person than in pics or videos.

More pics to come. I need to wash it from the long journey.

Congrats! Can't wait for mine to come in a few weeks. Like you, my last car with a manual tranny was a suburu outback I last drove in 2004 so I was also wondering how quickly it will come back.

Regarding protection, I've been recommended Xpel from an M2 owner - that's what I'll likely do.

Great looking car. There's just something about the red on the GT350 that's so intriguing... I think it's all the black that makes the color really pop. High on my list, but I'm afraid of the attention in my area.
