So it seems the most popular film brands are Suntek and Xpel.

Xpel: thicker than Suntek but more noticeable (orange peel)

Xpel makes the patterns for the cars that most shops use. I got Suntek film with Xpel patterns. Coverage: hood, front fenders, front bumper, rear impact area (front of rear fender). I'm considering adding A-pillar & leading edge of the roof.

I really like the PPF, you can lean on the car without worrying about scracthes, be totally unconscious while washing and still no scratches, and the front looks nice after multiple track days.
