So me and my brother were chatting the other day and ai showed him a pic of the new interior layout of the Ford mustangs. His immediate response was looks like Johnny 5 from short circuit.

He has a point and I can't unsee it now!

BTW I am not saying whether the new larger screen layout is better or worse than what we have on the S550, was just something that came up in conversation.

Going to be frank.The s550 dash is better looking than the s650. It’s a Mustang. It should look like the instrument panel in a WWII Mustang fighter plane. It’s called nostalgia. The s650 dash looks like it should be in a Star Wars X- Wing fighter.

I agree and it's one of the things that really bothers me about the interior. I have nothing against change and modernization per say. Heck the S550 is a modernized version of the original and I really like the evolution. But the S650 dash is not an evolution. It ruins the dash lines in favor of pasting on large screens to keep up with the "Jones's". It feels forced and rushed at the expense of the cars history. The rest of the interior I'm OK with. But then it really changed very little.
