...or the 2013 Boss. That body style combined with the Boss graphics will never get old.
Honestly , I would be seriously
2012 or 2013 Boss 302/LS models, it doesn't get much any better than that!

There was one of these with the black and red color scheme for sale right near where I live not too long ago. I honestly thought it something a kid modified..... oops. But hey, I've got an orange car so.....

The 2012 Boss 302 is what made me get back into muscle cars. I would be looking hard at a Mach rather than an s650 PP. I love the 350 but but not a huge fan of the FP 5.2L. They sound and run great but dont last like a Coyote. I like the track and not sure a Voodoo would have been the best option. I see guys in 350’s all the time but nobody goes hard with them.

2013 Boss 302 in yellow is on my short list of all time best looking Mustangs along with the 67 fastback in dark moss green and the 69 Boss in yellow. The 550's are good looking cars but honestly, they blatantly copied the profile and grill from an Aston DB9.

Well I secured an allocation for the M2. Car is scheduled to be built at the end of April, I'm lucky to get it by the end of July. The S650 on order won't probably be here until the end of June. I will make a decision then
Best wishes picking! My downside is both of them have a iPad for a dashboard, meh. I've always stated here my love for the American Pony car is why I have a Mustang. BMW will be faster, maybe handle better but I never had a Dad tap his kid on the shoulder and point to my car driving a BMW but it happens a lot in my GT. Not an attention slut just that's how the cars are different in their vibe. Car'nCoffee for BMW's looks like a dealership but one for Mustangs looks like a party.

Certainly agree that the Boss 302 "Road Runner" engine which was built in Windsor, Ontario would be more reliable when it comes to a HPDE but after having some seat time in some 2016 Pilot Production GT350/R's at Sebring the 5.2 L Voodoo engine is something to behold especially at the 8,250 RPM redline.

Was able to locate and purchase some Pilot Production Boss 302 models namely PP0001, PP0002 and PP0004 and for those that don't like the styling of the 2-seat Laguna Seca model (I get that) hopefully the 4-seat version might be more appealing to your senses as they are all outstanding Mustang's.

I regularly redlined my Boss 302 and GT350/R models without exception but the Voodoo engine is certainly more exotic and high strung therefore the Road Runner engine is a better choice from a reliability standpoint when it comes to track time IMO.

I would get the M2. I have a 21 M2 Comp after having 5 Mustangs. Wanted something different. It now has 30k miles on it and not one issue. The BMW repairs etc is not an issue with this car so far. Besides BMW is ranked much higher than Ford in reliability these days. Look it up.

I have not missed my Mustangs at all. Just the sound. Its nice to be in a car that you dont see 14 others of at every light.

I don't know, there are about as many M cars around here as V8 mustangs(not quite, but, not as far off as you'd think).

By me it’s the opposite, very few Mustangs around. Every other car is a bmw, Mercedes, Audi or Tesla.
My Mach is like a unicorn

an M2 is a bargain to maintain compared to that 911 you're considering. My coworker had one with the intention of doing headers and an exhaust. Those two parts were $7k each before labor. Ended up selling the car for a ZL1 but for unrelated reasons.

The truth of the matter is however, if you're using the dealer as your source of maintenance costs you're not doing it right. If you're out of warranty the dealer is not your friend, an M2 is not exotic enough to warrant brining it to the dealer for service/repairs after the warranty is expired. its a 2 series, any dedicated performance or euro shop can do it.
My working Definition.

Dealer: Where you buy... PERIOD. Repairs under warranty only, and if I cant do it myself. I have NOT brought my Bullitt in for the two recall issues with reprogramming. I hate dealers. Ummm, I mean STEALERS....... Not putting my car in the hands of shaved apes unless there is no other option. Post warranty, I will find a local trusted shop for anything I cant do myself.

It is why I will likely never own a modern Euro Car. My 1989 944 S2 and 1976 912 are all the P car I need.

I just picked up my Mach 1 and traded in my 22 supra for it. The Mach is a good looking car, the regular base 5.0 looks boring to me though

Interested to hear your comparisons. Auto/Manual of each? Makes a huge difference IMNSHO.

I really like the Supra (2020) but the lack of rear seat, real trunk, limited dash and terrible buffeting with windows down waived me off. A fantastic driving car though, just didn't fit my needs.
