I have heard that also. A few folks that I’ve talked to are now only pricing in 2 cuts. So there is changing in sentiment. I heard today that they will not move rates in the May meeting. June is possible and maybe August. I’m guessing once the election gets in full swing they’re going to sit still so as not to appear biased towards one candidate or the other.
If they cut rates when inflation is raging like it is right now, they look super biased to most people.

It's in a narrow range. A lot of us feel the Fed will try and step in and inject loosen some before the election
I think they want to prevent the recession that has to happen - or to at least push it until late this year early next year. They still after years of inflation haven't increased the rates enough to slow down the economy, which already shows a problem IMO.

...or the 2013 Boss. That body style combined with the Boss graphics will never get old.
I think the 2011 is beautiful, but I hate the later Bosses.

Dave, wish you the best in your next car and I’d love to hear your comparison to the Mach 1. Here’s a picture of my Mach next to the M2 I was contemplating on buying off the lot.
Mach 1 is just so much better looking imo!

Your Mach 1 looks terrific and not even close in styling when it comes to the vehicle sitting beside it.

The front half design of the M2 is decent but from the end of the driver/passenger door back it looks as though the exterior designers feel asleep before they finished off creating this M2 model as the back half of the vehicle looks much too short and stubby.

I realize that the rear seats on a Dark Horse are not all that roomy but the M2 is downright a waste of space/money/weight and suggest that the BMW interior designers may have considered making this a 2-seat model.

With a couple of added options the MSRP for a 2024 M2 will be around $70,000 which is not chump change especially based on performance times that are pretty much standard for a 453 HP automobile which has a curb weight of over 3,800 pounds and not much different in weight than a Dark Horse.

I think back some 13 years ago to my first 2012 Boss 302 LS with respect to the overall driving engagement, styling, quad exhaust, TracKey, outstanding performance times, aural sound at the 7,500 RPM redline, what a bargain that was for $48,575 compared to a ~$70,000 2024 BMW M2.

Getting a 2024 Dark Horse at MSRP is not difficult and it would be an easy decision from my standpoint as to which way that I would go.

Agreed. The M2 looks like a mean mother. They had an M2 coupe, M3 sedan and M4 convertible on the floor when I picked up my Z4. I'd have bought all 3 if I could!
I’m not a BMW fan really but a guy that lives behind me has an M4 Comp (2023 I believe). All black, it’s a sharp looking car and it hauls arse. He also has a Panamera which is no slouch even though it’s ugly as sin

2012 or 2013 Boss 302/LS models, it doesn't get much any better than that!

Sorry, I thought all M series came from Germany or Austria. So, better news for you!

I'm sure you are aware of this already and it may not concern you, but M series cars hold their value extremely well, much better than a Mustang. You can find 2008 M3s selling for what they cost when new.

I agree, my previous 2 rides were a 2011 E92 M3 and a 2013 E92 M3. I sold the car after almost 8 yrs. for darn near $40k and that was back in 2020.

My 2013...

The paint scheme on the LS option reminds me of a circus tent. The regular Boss 302 looks way better. Love the Boss 302, but what’s up with the clown car wheels and color scheme on the LS?

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder with pretty much all low mileage 2012 LS models (Black and Ingot Silver) still commanding prices in excess of MSRP.

Aside from the exterior color/design differences between the 2 Boss 302 models have you ever driven a 4-seat or 2-seat Boss 302 model back-to-back in order to understand the many differences between the two models and subsequent improved performance?

I was totally wrong in my earlier statement. I guess it's just the 2013 Boss that I don't like the nose on. The silver/black combo especially is really great. The red stripes are a little loud for me, but I still think they look beautiful.

Never. Purely my honest reaction to a cosmetic condition without regard to any other attribute or otherwise. Having said that, I’ll take one of the 2014 metallic green Boss 302’s any day of the week, be quite happy with it and probably would still own it.

Definitely do what makes you happy. The Porsche GT3 makes me happy but my wallet sad. My 2022 mustang GT makes me very happy and sings with that 5.0 V8 every time I drive it. I have owned several cars and this Mustang makes me wish I hadn’t got it sooner. I didn’t get it for the mpg that’s for sure lol.

Unfortunately Ford never produced a 2014 Boss 302 but their FRAP did produce a Gotta Have It Green Boss 302 for the final 2013 Boss 302 model year and have to agree that optional color was outstanding and was my wife's favorite Boss 302 color for the many Boss 302/LS vehicles that were in our garage.

As a side note, I recall being on the auction block in 2011 when a 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca sold at auction for $450,000 therefore a few Mustang enthusiasts certainly liked those cosmetic attributes. :)

Agreed. A friend owns a '12 LS in silver, and we jokingly refer to it as the clown car.

(I'd happily own it, however.)
