Has anyone from the Midwest driven their Bullitt the past winter? I got mine in Feb 2020 and it's my daily, so I plan to drive it through OH's winters. They're not as bad as what I used to do with my 98 Escort in ND and MN, but I wanna be ready.
Are the Pirelli Sottozeros what people are getting? This Car and Driver article seems to rave about the "dailability" of the Bullitt and I think they've put it through MI winters....

I drove my Mustangs for last 5 years through the winters here - has Blizzaks WS80 and then Contis DWS06. It's absolutely driveable. Only issue is - amount of the salt that gets on all the suspension part. I was removing hubs in the spring to replace the studs and there was so much corrosion I had to use slide hammer to get them out of the knuckles.

I must've seen your pics before somewhere (I'm guessing here), but that looks freaking cool!
Who would've thought that a muscle car looks so in its element instead od looking out of place in snow?

Fluid film helps, apply before the first snow liberally on all the stamped steel parts as well as the unibody. Or get a beater lol

If I was storing, I would add a battery tender to that list. I have a CTEK (56-353) MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Battery Charger,Black for the times I don't drive my cars.

My 'winterizing' for any seasonal use vehicle car or motorcycle parked for more than 3 months is:

1 - All fluids topped off
2 - Fresh oil and Filter
3 - Stabilized Full tank of Fuel. I use Seafoam.
4 - Over pressure tires (40-50lbs)

I see you live in West Chester, OH, I'm just outside of Dayton. Do you have wheels (rims) and tire recommendations from using your Mustang, if it's your daily? I see you have F150, so I'm guessing not, but here's to hoping. I want to daily my Bullitt in the OH winters as well.

I dont plan to drive the Bullitt in the snow, but will drive year round on nice days, so will not be winterizing, but if I was using it as a DD, I would buy a second set of rims with dedicated winter tires. This is what I did with my M3. I bought a set of BBS rims for my summer driving used Pilot Sports exclusively, best all around performance tire, and got 20K miles. For winter, I used the Dunlop Sport winter tires which were excellent. The M3 was a staggered setup as well.

Currently only have a 1 car garage which is stuffed with motorcycles, so the Bullitt is in the driveway for the winter under a cover. Not ideal, but better than nothing.

They use that horrible brine spray on our roads, is just terrible and wreaks havoc on the undercarriage and engine bay. I regularly hose out the undercarriage and wheel housings through the winter to get that brine crap out.

I run a square setup with 245/45R-19 Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 tires on 19x9 Ford Performance Boss 302 wheels. Had them all last winter. Just fine in the cold and wet. For whatever reason, we didn't get much snow at all in Massachusetts last year, so I never got to try them out in that.

Forecast is for light snow Friday, so it's probably time to put them back on.

Yes - on previous car I've used base 18" wheels (car did not have PP) with Blizzaks WS-80 but of course there was no snow. On this car I have a set of 19" OEM rims (one of the wheels sold on the premium cars, not the PP ones though - bought them cheap on the forum here from someone that didn't want them) with Contis DWS06. Drove it in basically any weather, most of the time actually in the track mode - it does just fine. Didn't get true winters as it seems we don't get that much snow now and DWS06 are just about best All Seasons in the snow.

Only concern is amount of salt and corrosion that it drives in some of the components but it is basically unavoidable.

Yeah, I'm starting to see it's not cheap. The staggered set of tires themselves is $1,200, the Sottozeros.
Can I just get a 19x9 rims 4pc and they'll fit, or the rims are different too? Also, do I need to worry about extra clearance for my Brembos?

Bullitt car cover is sitting in my living room beside the door haha
I'm guessing just like me, you got yours from the dealer. Have literally never taken it out of the box since it's my daily (and now i have a sweet winter wheel and tire setup). Does it look nice?
