If you want to unlock your oil pressure gauge yourself, you need a SCT X4 flasher and a file from a tuner. I got my file in connection with a costome tune for a Roush CAI from Shaun from AED and I can say it was worth it, Shaun is really very helpful and he knows what he is doing. Everything works very well, the car is much faster and makes driving more fun :clap2:

That would be great but i have an ngauge (HP tuners) tune for my supercharger so SCT wont work so I need a GT PP auto std tune i guess and re vin it and add my tune to that maybe as there is no PP cars here in OZ with gauges as an option so if you or someone has a std tune file for a GT auto PP with gauges and would like to share it with me that would be awesome i could send to my tuner and see what happens I guess... I asked shawn in email but he cant do nGuage.

ngauge has a switch option for switch or transducer i was thinking maybe set mine to transducer and see what happens if nothing then set it back to switch

Still following...I just did this yesterday on my 16 Ecoboost Droptop Premium without PP. What an effing hack job that was needed... Didn't realize the 1/4" wider air outlets were going to be such a pain. Now my question is, I don't have a tuner but I do have the Ford Performance Tune (laptop upload).... Anybody figure a way to get Ford or Mountune to provide the oil pressure change in their file?

Same,... Also did quite the hack... no one mentioned the vents not lining up, Its a TIGHT fix!

I didn't want to post in the Recap thread and clog it up, But Oil Pressure not displaying:

2015 Mustang GT Premium (without Performance pack)
installed the PP trim and gauges last night (Oil Pressure / Vac gauges)... not boost

Harness wire 1 to Pin 1
Harness wire 2 to Pin 53 (double blue wire) striped and spliced into both
Harness wire 3 to Pin 54 (double white wire) striped and spliced into both
Harness wire 4 to pin 37 larger black wire

All lights up, My color works, Vac works (can matches cluster display).
Just no movement on the oil pressure gauge.

SO, Am I back to needing a tune (aftermarket). OR, is this something the dealership can "activate".

OR does someone see a flaw in my wiring?

Once I have a fix, I'll update the RECAP thread

Would a dealer know what to change? Does anyone here know what needs to be changed in the program - assuming it must just a a flip of a switch to turn it on?

+1

although it may be enough reason to fully tune the car....

If anyone comes up with anything other solutions, please let us know. I have an oil change coming up, I'll ask then.
