Thanks Gossomer, I always thought it should be that simple and am glad it worked on your car, because we have the same vehicle - '16 comp orange EB Prem.... now to find someone to do this and maybe fix my new exhaust a bit....
I have the dash and gauges all installed, but I'm still under warranty and so am running the Ford Pro Cal 3 tune and I don't think Ford will modify my tune to turn on the oil pressure gauge . ... I was hoping that I could use the Forscan to switch and enable an ECM switch to turn it on myself...
Forscan turn on Oil Pressure on PP gauge on non-PP car?
I've search a bit through this thread..but with so many posts, I may have missed it... AD or others, has anyone been able to turn on the Oil Pressure gauge on a PP Dash gauge pack when installed on a non-PP car using Forscan - I know...
I would think that if Lund and Adam+ (and other tuners) can do it only via a tune re-write, that something should be enabled via Forscan to do it as well.. that said, there may not be a huge enough request and therefore not enough interest to have it 'discovered' in Forscan... not many of us...
Nice and very demure - stealthy - also note the black lug nuts (Gorilla??). On the G2, did you like the paintbrush approach and for the finish, did it come out smooth or did you gloss it?
Ctandc72 - thanks! I was actually thinking sort of the same thing. Also, it sounds like we are on the same path... I got the GT Takeoffs fronts from Shelby Am. and now am thinking I should pick up the rears as well... I want to paint mine also - what did you use for your caliper paint? The other...
I'm upgrading my standard EB front brakes with the 4 piston GT 14" brakes. I was wondering if anyone has looked at using the standard vented front brakes and relocate them to the rear. It would give it a bit more than the standard single non-vented rear brakes? I know on the GT and PP, they are...
I have the Ford Performance tune that was originally done by Mountune....now I did the swap..I wonder if Ford would provide the update to the tune? Also, i am wonder if any other tuners work with the Ford Performance Pack tune...I'm almost at my warranty expiration, then I may opt to go to a...
Would a dealer know what to change? Does anyone here know what needs to be changed in the program - assuming it must just a a flip of a switch to turn it on?
Thestangb, great summary...m still reading the 30 pages, but I also completed the swap yesterday on my EB premium without PP. I don't have a hand held tuner, but I did upload the Ford Performance Pack tune. Any thoughts how I can get a correct file update into my PCM?
