How to clean this?

Whats the beat way to clean this small breather filter? Its my first time owning a vehicle that has a vented catch can

Take it off and rinse it with a good spray can of degreaser over a catch pan.

Take it off and spray it with brake cleaner, reinstall.

A few drops of Dawn dish soap in a small bucket of water. Let it soak for an hour and rinse.
