How to clean this?

Whats the beat way to clean this small breather filter? Its my first time owning a vehicle that has a vented catch can

Take it off and rinse it with a good spray can of degreaser over a catch pan.

The Dawn is the best option because any harsher chemicals like brake cleaner etc. can damage the mesh material over time. The only other product that may work if it’s still available would be K&N’s air filter cleaner that is used to cleanse their oiled air filter elements.
