need to raise the hood a tiny bit to align with left and right fenders. Standing in front with hood open i see those 2 black large plastic screw bumpers. I unscrewed a half turn, but is there any other hood height adjustment?

I was also looking at where the hood bolts up to the hinges but that does not allow for a height adjustment anywhere .how about the hood latch mechanism? Can that be raised or lowered?

I also have a hood alignment issue. There is some play near the windshield but you need a body shop to look at it. I am going to have it adjusted the next time it is in for service.

The black rubber bumpers will adjust hood height. If you’re not getting enough adjustment there from turning them in/out, then you may have to adjust (or readjust) the hood latch attached to the front core support. The latch can be moved up/down.

If you do move the hood latch, then you might have to readjust the hood bumpers again.

Cobra Jet: thank you! Will try this today. Just looking to ha e the hood sit aprox. 1/32” max higher than where she is now.
Did you adjust it yet? How'd it turn out? Mine's low at the back and I'd love to fix it.

Yes...was as easy as it sounds...just the 2 bolts holding the hood latch are loosened. I used a permanent marker to outline the existing position of the latch and then slightly raised the laychex and retightened the bolts. Done! I can now nring t hood down to the latch and then genlty push to lock i stead of slamming. Mission complete.
