Was wondering if anyone here has the ESS G3x synchro gears with a recirculating BOV.
I have had a Paxton 2200 SL on my 2006 GT with normal BOV and the whine is getting old. Was wondering
how much quieter the newer Blowers could be made. Would prefer Centri not PD or Turbos.
Thanks

My P1X Procharger with helical gears and the supplied pro charger plastic BOV was nearly 100% silent. You had to really try to hear it regardless of RPM.

With the synchro gears the blower will be very quiet. With the hood closed you won’t hardly hear it. Won’t be audible inside the car at all.

I have the 2200 SL on my car with the original BOV and I wouldn't count it as loud at all. You can hear the chattering and slight whistle on cold starts with my tiny air filter on the front of the blower. But the stock paxton air intake was much quieter

It's pretty quiet when idling and driving. Tbh I'd be happy if it was louder lol

Brevin if he purchased a 50mm Recirc BOV would he vent it back into the intake just north of the filter?

Proshop that was my next question you beat me to it. I just picked up a 23' Mach 1 and would like to go with the ESS G3x and G4 intercooler and was wondering if the intake that comes with the kit would have a place to route the BOV into and if it would make it harder to tune.
Thanks for the replies.

I am also very interested in this. A recirculating option or solution for the ESS kits is welcomed.

So I’m gonna throw it out there.. you probably would recirculate it back in to the intake tube before the supercharger so it wouldn’t be unmetered air the maf can’t calculate and it would be just regular air like the supercharger is sucking in. You would not be able to run a closed catch can system thou since the intake pipe before the supercharger only has to inlets.

Yes he can purchase the Tial recirculating BOV and route it back into the intake tube. With the tube being silicone it would be fairly simple to insert a fitting with dab of sealant. The entire supercharger system would be virtually silent this way.

Yes, it would be very simple to do. Just buy the valve and a length of hose and route it back into the intake tube. Find a fitting and some sealant and insert it in a place that makes sense. Here’s the valve you’d need: https://www.jegs.com/i/Pro+Dial/768...MI_rSoz4bE_gIVCQetBh2kVQEIEAQYBCABEgLXTfD_BwE

Thank you for all the replies. One more quick question Brevin what kind of lead time for a
G3x synchro gears with the G4 intercooler, 120mm pulley and 1050x kit.
This would be going a 23' Mach 1 A10.

I run a ProCharger HO kit, with helical gears, and the proflow bypass (with sound filter on the end). Frankly its FUNNY, cause its a totally sleeper... nobody knows its supercharged. (Until they see the tail lights)

Do the summit or Precision ones you guys have come with the spring for supercharged applications like the Tial? I'm guessing that's to keep it shut while cruising?

It is open while cruising, closes under boost.
