Anybody running a vortech, procharger or Paxton with the 373 gears? I'm not taking my car to the track at all. I herd people change them because before the finish you have to switch into 5th. Gonna be a street car only. Couple rolls and may a couple digs on the street. I'd figure whatever I loose on the bottom end, I'll pick up with 3:73. What do you guys Think?

I am running a Paxton with 3.73 and auto. If you have the MT-82 you will need to go to 5th in the 1/4. Not a big deal unless you are really trying to get good 1/4 mile times. What are you goals?

I didn't like the 3.73's on the street in my car. Way too much gear. I also had to be in 3rd gear for a 60 roll, which blows.

I went 3.15's and the car is perfect. I can do 2nd gear bakery runs and the hit is incredible or I can cruise in 6th and get those MPG gains.

3.31's are typically the best answer for most people, but I went 3.15's to increase my top end ratio for long hauls as well (160+).

I thought 3.73 was a blast on the street but didn't serve my purposes for racing. Try out the 3.73 if you already have them and see how you like it.

They suck. 1&2 spin as soon as you start making much boost (partial throttle) then slay the tires at WOT. 3rd gear is ok but I still have to roll into it. Im running Nitto NT555 Radials. If I stab 3rd gear ill spin.

I personally thought 3.73 were a little too much even stock, and after the procharger it has left 1st/2nd gear completely useless

I enjoy 3rd and 4th but even they go too quick and the only reason why I havent swapped my rear end yet is to leave my options open to switch out the MT-82 for a TR660. Which can use the 3.73 gears

I pull away from most stops in 3rd gear. 3.73s suck with the MT82

They are a chore. And spinning ain’t winning. I went to 3.31 which were a welcomed change but I may drop again to 3.15’s after seeing positive reviews.

The 3.73 are absoutely horrendous with the procharger. Before I went 6R80 I really hated it. I have 3.31 gears for sale if your interested brand new.
