Cold starts are loud, once in first gear and warmed up it gets quieter.

Can't help with the intake part just yet but I love my Borla S-Type!! No Drone on the highway and nice deep sound through-out 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Loud at cold start-up but quiets down once warmed up. And awesome sound when you get on it!!! I'd buy it again and again.
