And is the sound strictly exhaust or the engine, too?

No resonators in the R. So the exhaust is louder under load and has some pop and crackle between up and down shifts as well. Depending on what octane you run too. 93 is readily available here in TX and it does pop and crackle more so than 91 from my experience. And is the sound strictly exhaust or the engine, too?
Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING this guy does is obsessively comprehensive.Wow.. that's a pretty comprehensive exhaust video
There is a very good video that shows a bunch of GT350s and GT350Rs accelerating up a hill on a track and you can quite clearly hear the difference under hard acceleration. Just can't find the video right now.
TY. So as far as you know I could do just the resonator delete and the rest (mufflers) are the same. I wonder if that effects performance as well. I would like a little more 'growl'. I did the delete on my GT and it was perfect! No resonators in the R. So the exhaust is louder under load and has some pop and crackle between up and down shifts as well. Just the exhaust. The engines don't or shouldn't sound different.
I haven't tested this for sure on the Voodoo, but on my Terminator when I went from TR6 plugs to BR7EF the car would pop like crazy on decel...similar to the GT350. I eventually went back to the TR6 plugs because The BR7s also created a missfire on that car at idle. I wouldn't be surprised if changing spark plugs removed some of the pops and backfires.I actually can’t stand the cracking and popping many of the new cars exhibit. I prefer the throaty exhaust notes from the old 5.0 and 4.6
