Add to that...LOTS of folks with very loose and wrinkled leather seats. New builder this year! Found problem personally in cars I looked at at 2 local dealers.

Back glass not set in correctly. All those "noticing the problem...not all do" the glass at the top left is crooked and sits low.

Radio system quitting; rear trunk and rear panel/lights not fitting correctly; paint runs; thin paint; clear coat not fully covering in some places; mismatched door panels; non matching color of leather stitching; doors not sitting flush and straight.....

Do I go on? Many issues...and NO not all cars go through THIS amount of different issues. NOT all the cars....but, for me, way too many. I've owned over 30 new cars..and I've never seen these many problems in any new car launch..let alone the cars I bought over the years, that include 9 Mustangs and 2 Ford trucks. Did have on of those truck engines bad on delivery day. Had to put a new engine in.

Now the latest that's holding 4,000 cars in "limbo" including mine!! Problem may not affect all the cars, but, just another issue(s) to add to the list.

Is it heat shields on the EcoBoost?....or firewall????....or GT vibration????

I'm seriously curious...if you see the car as problematic as you obviously do, why not just cancel your order?

My car was built October 1st and I have gone over it many times with a fine tooth comb. Not one of those issues is present. only issue I found was a weird little spot on the top of the center brake light that's smaller than a fingernail. According to some of you guys I should go out and buy a lottery ticket.

Not me. My car is virtually perfect as well. I have zero issues that have been reported on all fronts. My car is a job2 car built the week of thanksgiving.

Issues are always blown out of proportion on forums. Us folk that post on forums represent a very small % of owners.

Mines great!! the only "issue" from that list for me is a squeaky brake. But that's just the first stop I do in the morning, after that its fine.

Many people join forums only to post about their problems, to see what other people are doing or if they are the only one with the issue. And, these people almost always post on multiple forums, so the perception is many cars with the same problems. I saw this with the early MY-82 transmissions. I put full synthetic in mine early on and had no problems.

The noisy brakes seem to be hit and miss from what I have read. Not everyone is experiencing the problem. I have not read, in all the reviews that have been published, of one car with noisy brakes being tested.

I can honestly say my EB is as close to perfect as a mass produced car can be. No squeaks or rattles, all body panels fit as they should and the paint is flawless. No noisy brakes, or back window problems.

I don't drive it every day, due to the winter snows, but at least twice a week and the trips are usually over 100 miles. Living in a rural area, We have to drive 30 miles one way for groceries. We went to lunch the other day and drove 110 miles round trip. My dealer is 32 miles away and that is close. My point is, the car performs and handles very well, especially in the hills. On the interstate, 28 to 31 mpg at 75, depending on the winds. But, we rarely read about the cars without problems, because a lot of those owners are not on forums.

I bet I can speak for MOST of the folks who joined this forum...was not to complain. It was to learn about the new '15 car....and then learn from those that have theirs. In that process of many months many of us...who have paid attention....and looked at many cars sitting on dealer's lots.....have found there are many issues with these new cars.

Not here to look for that...but, that's what many have found. So, complaining no....disgruntled to find what we have found...many of us. And some have stated they don't care if the car has problems. Fine. But, most car people that truly care about what they are driving take notice when there are so many issues.

Heck...being nice here....I've talked to Ford dealers and Sales Mgrs, etc, THEY know the problems. One laughed about the first one they received, it was so bad they couldn't put it on the lot to sell. Went back to Ford. My good friend and Ford guy in California...and a just retired Internet Mgr and Fleet Mgr....told me horror stories on the new Mustang and F-150. I verified the problems with the new F-150. They have to send them to the body shop BEFORE they go to the lot 'cause they didn't want the public to see the problems.

The issues are real....the problems, so many, are there now after months of LEARNING. Didn't come here looking for them......just found them.

I am..was?...going to own my 10th Mustang V8. Have a '14 GT Prem. now in my garage. NO issues. Last year of the S-197...they did it very well.

I'm sorry but you cannot use the word MANY when talking about a forum. I would agree that there are cars that have some of these issues but I have also looked at many cars as I work with several (13) other people who own S550s and not one of those cars has any issues. you are taking a tiny sample size and blowing it so far out of proportion it is laughable.

I'm extremely happy with my car. I'm 54, have bought 16 new Mustangs and at least as many other cars and trucks over the years. My 2015 Mustang GT Premium has the best quality of anything I've bought previously.

I do have two minor issues: Occasional brake squeal (really loud!) for the first couple of stops when the car is cold and slight panel misalignment between the passenger side fender and door. I don't consider the brake squeal a problem ...more a nuisance and I hear that the problem may just go away as the brakes "break in" over time. The panel alignment is so minor that I didn't even notice it until 2 1/2 months after I bought it!

Other than that, the car is a dream come true. Finally, I have a Mustang that is better than I thought it ever would be. It's a blast to drive and I'm proud to own it.

Problems or no problems - that's a good question

First of all, I do love my Mustang. That's for sure. But I do have /had some issues with it. Putting a sticker on the car saying that it is made with pride is one thing I can't believe. Go and browse for some pictures members posted already in the "recall, issues" section. There is also a thread asking to vote if you had or don't had issues. Last time I checked, 50% EB owners had issues. 57% GT owners had issues and 40% V6 owners had issues. (Looking on 80 members voted there)

On the other hand we have members they must have lots of money to waste writing comments like: "What you expect? It is only a $40,000 car...." and start shaking my head. I understand that some do not baby their cars, ripping everything off the car to put aftermarket parts on and race the "shit" auf of the Mustang and do not care a bit that panels, doors and windows are not fitting nicely. I can understand this. I personally talked with 2 service guys 2 weeks ago and they said that the Fiesta and Focus do look like much better than some Mustangs they have on the lot but cost much less money. My car was build on the 18.10.2014 as one of the 1st JOB2 cars. Saying that with JOB2 the cars do not have any issues isn't correct. I still can't believe that QC is releasing cars like the CO colored convertible with that bad roof cover one of our members posted. I personally would have refused to take it.

I can only say on the end. Check your rear end on your Mustang when you see a Mustang. When the trunk lit doesn't fit on the left side and the rear window is deeper on the left side - make sure it is on file. If you don't care anyways that's fine with me too! :cheers: But IMO a $40,000 car should look much better when it is brand new. :gossip:

as you just stated 80 members voted and only a fraction of those have issues. To say there is a quality problem based on that small of a percentage of total vehicle owners (thousands) (obviously not everyone with an issue has stated they have an issue) is ridiculous. You are talking about a fraction of a percentage of cars with reported problems The real issue is the people with the problems like to talk the loudest Blowing everything out of proportion.

Sooooooooo true!! I bet there have been 40k+ 2015 Mustangs built since production started. Likely 25-30K have been sold already based on all the #'s that have been shared thus far and if you extrapolate out...

I bet user forums makeup 5% of ownership of a car or model group. So if 30k have been sold and on the road, only 1500 of those owners are posting. Hell, even if the % is 10%, the sample set is small for those having issues.

The squiking has stopped at 1300 miles. .I now have officially no complaints. . The car is perfect! !
