Tubbed muscle cars are total ricers.

don't like the slammed pancake look, i'll make my own breakfast. 1.2 front 1.0 rear is perfect for these cars, it looks mean and clears speed bumps without issue. I like Steeda!!!!!

Yeah, definitely just for ricers...lol.
When I say passed on from ricers, I'm talking about the more extreme spectrum. Unless you see a lot of 66 Mustangs like below:

I came from a bagged Dodge dually on 24 inch semi wheels that laid body to my 16 GT and at first I REALLY wanted to bag it...but...after careful consideration, decided not to and just do Ford Racing 1" springs...with a 315/35/20 in back and 275/35/20 in front. Rear tire fills out the wheelwell perfect (about 1/2 a finger between tire and fender, which NEVER rubs) and looks very "beefy" when looking at the rear of the car. I could take that bag $$$ and just boost it when the factory warranty is out.

Yeah, my style as well. Too low just isn't for me.. to each of their own though.

Everytime I see a car lower than 2 inches it reminds me of this:

For a muscle/pony car, rumbling V8.. I like the few below although they might be slight lower than 1" drop.. one inch is good for these cars for me.

Everyone of those you showed were stanced though, totally different. They all have camber because they are bagged which makes them look funny.

I can definitely admire a super low S550. I think they look great but I wouldn't do it personally since my car is a DD. I'll be happy with a 1-1.25" drop.

I don't understand the appeal. Perhaps I'm just an old luddite, but the stock height seems to be JUST high enough to avoid me scraping the chucks at the end of parking spaces and prevent me from bottoming out on driveways.

This whole urban fascination with bagging cars and having them a c-hair off the ground has me scratching my head. I think it looks foolish.

But hey...to each his own. I also won't wear my hat sideways or have my pants hanging off my ass while blasting F the POHleece on the horribly mistuned audio system designed to vibrate the body panels of nearby vehicles. Sometimes I think this country is just circling the drain....

IMO, DD's are where bags shine. I can tuck tires and never have to worry about a steep driveway or speed bump again all at the same time. My bags have really saved my APR splitter big time. It's also nice to air all the way up in the garage to fit a floor jack under it without using ramps. The positive outcomes are endless lol.

I like the look of both cars. I prefer the top one better. With the wide hips these S550 have and being able to run a wide tire out back, it really compliments the look of the car.

I am in my 40's too, and have had over 10 Mustangs. I would not go any lower than the picture above, however.

Here are pictures of my car. I am running Steeda ultralite linears with Koni shocks/struts and 20x10/20x11 wheels and 285/305 tires (35 series) with -2 camber up front and -2.1 out back. I have zero rubbing at all. The fenders are rolled from the factory and hitting some big bumps, my tires have never rubbed the inside of my fenders at all. If they did, it would tear my white lettering off my tires.
