Without the risk of sounding like a complete moron here and maybe I'll learn something. OP has the same exact springs I do and you would think that with the taller 305/35/20 tire which is 28.4" tall that the rear would actually sit up higher. The taller tire obviously will fill up the wheel well more because of its height. I'm running 315/35/20's on rear of my car and they're 28.7" tall and fill in the wheel gap even a little more than the OP. I think its just the tire height that gives the look of the back end being lower, but in actuality, it isn't. The other issue is that the OP has 285/30/20's on the front which are only 26.7" tall. The stock tires on the 15-17 20" wheels is the 265/35/20 which is 27.3" tall. So, that's a bit over half an inch shorter which is also adding to the looks of the front being higher than the rear. I'm running 275/35/20's on the front of my car which are 27.7" tall which makes it look a little more even.
The new tires dropped the front 1/8” and raised the rear 1/2”. It also increased the wheel gap in front and decreased the wheel gap in back by about those same amounts. I had the stock PP1 setup to start with, so my fronts went from 27.1 to 26.8 and the rear from 27.7 to 28.4. The back looks lower if just looking at wheel gap, but you can tell from the rake that it is actually higher in back.

Man that’s low but looks very nice. Michigan roads can barely support my height (pics below). The rear looks a little lower than the front but it could just be the angle.
Fortunately most roads are good around here since we don’t get much freezing weather and never have salt on the roads. I even have speed bumps at my office and don’t have any trouble as long as I take them slow.

I think the lower look in the back is from the wheel gap as the front has almost 1” more drop than the rear versus the stock setup when factoring in the springs and tires.

Yes it is, looking a that lower rocker panel, easy to see the rake. It looks fine, the tire fills the WW.

So I did a little testing to see how it would look raised 1/4” and 1/2” in the back. The top photo is current setup, middle is raised 1/4”, and bottom is raised 1/2”. I’m leaning towards raising the back 1/4”. I like the wheel gap raised 1/2”, but I’m not sure I want that much rake, and I’m thinking 1/4” may be the best compromise. Which do you think looks best?

1/4" in the rear. Steeda sells spacers that can do that for you (1/8" spacers for 1/4" raise). I think 1/2 is too much.

Oh also, you could try adding 5mm wheel spacers in the front which would get rid of some of the shadow that makes it look like more fender gap.

Thanks. If I do raise it, the Steeda spacers are what I plan on using. They have ones for 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 raise, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to get the lift if I go that route.

I like the top one . I went out and measured mine at the pinch welds rear of front tire and front of rear tire . Half inch difference with the rear being higher . Since I'm dropped aproxmently 1.5 front and rear , that would lead me to believe that the factory rake would be .5 inch .

That 1/4" looks great to me. Do the spaces change how the car rides?

I’m going to add some rake as well. It looks to me like the rear is lower than the front in mine, probably an optical illusion. I have SVE lowering springs, 1.1 front, 1.0 rear.
I am in the process of buying some used Steeda ones from a 6G subscriber, 1/4” for a 1/2” change. Hopefully it will give me the look I want.

I haven’t added any spacers yet to see how it drives. I just used a Jack to get an idea of how it would look. The Steeda spacers are not supposed to make any change in ride quality.

I like the look of some rake; I just don’t want to get too extreme with it or have it negatively affect drivability.
