Lol this actually makes sense. I know bags have come along way since they first became popular. I remember riding in a bagged s10, 12 years ago and the ride was the absolute worst and the compressor was noisy as hell! I might need to ride in someones bagged s550 to really get a feel for it.
HUGE difference now man. I mean if you go the Airlift Performance route they come with 24 Way Adjustable Struts and Shocks that make all the world. I turned them all the way to soft, drove, then all the way to stiff, drove, and the difference was amazing. Fully stiff, obviously was very harsh, but felt amazing in the corners while fully soft felt like a Cadillac but was like a boat around corners. So honestly you can pick your poison and how you want it to ride.

The compressors aren't loud in mine at all really. With the car off, you can barely hear the compressors from outside the car. Inside you can hear them, but they aren't very loud at all. With the car on, you barely even notice they are there.

nice...do you have a side shot?

what size are the wheels and tires?
sorry dont have a side shot, someone else took this at our houston meet

19x10" +45, 5mm spacer in front. 275/40/19 michelin PSS square

looks good bro! For the rears, I don't think you can even fit 2 fingers back there lol

That's probably the lowest I would go.. Bagging sounds good but also expensive.
yea bagging is expensive. I got my Konis for under $700 and the BMR springs for $180. Then installed myself

bagging is just alot of money when you can put it in or towards a fund for a super charger.. i mean in some cases of super chargers, bags are almost more than half the cost of a blower!

only thing that has held me back from buying bags is the price, when I can just put that much money towards other mods, like a lot of other mods.

however I still want air and after mustang week I'm really going to want air and a supercharger... in my dreams... lol

Got some good laughs out of this thread, so thanks for that. :)

"How low is too low??" - the answer is subjective.

But to answer some of the comments objectively, my S550 is 27" from the ground to the fenders all the way around. (275/35-20s square) It has never rubbed or scraped over anything. The cornering grip is impressive (handling) and it does not wheel hop (drag). So while this look is lower than what the OP prefers, it is fully functional in a practical sense.

That's EXACTLY my thinking on it as well! I can't justify spending half the cost of a nice go-fast part on suspension, even if it is bags (which i want REALLY bad) lol.

Damn, that is TUCKED!

It looks good! don't get me wrong but you're right it is subjective and I like some clearance between tire and fender for a Mustang.

This is perfect to me.. Steeda springs

I feel ya. I know I like it lower than most (it's a Puerto Rican thing). My point was simply that even this low, the car is fully functional. Actually, it's my daily driver and I take my kids to school in it every day.

Lowered about an inch on steeda ultralites. Absolutely love the drop. No rubbing or issues for daily driving:headbang:

Pretty much perfect...and practical.

Hi - thought I would chip in from the UK...

Mine is lowered 3.5cm front and 3cm rear on KW Coilovers...
To be honest I think it's a bit low and will be taking it up by 0.5cm front and back soon for trackdays.. It doesn't rub as far as I can tell but is at risk of doing so I think...

Another good reason for bags. I can raise it up to really clean those tires and wheel wells.

And when I am done
