were not simply talking about gas theft, we're also talking about people who will try to tamper with your car...

yeah, pop the cover, insert a tube, fill that tank up with stuff you dont want in your car, pull it out, and close the cover. very simple and fast for messing with your car right?
Nobody has ever done that in my entire lifetime and I haven't had a locking gas cap ever. Must be a depends on where you live thing.

I have never in my 33 years, had my car, or known any friends, family or coworkers that have ever had gas stolen or stuff put in their gas tank. I have lived in some serious ( no really) ghetto's too.

This is soooo far down the list of shit to care about lol

Has anybody actually seen the end of the filler neck?
I had to replace the fuel pump in my 99 GT, which required dropping the tank. The filler neck is blocked off at the bottom with holes out the sides, for the fuel to flow into the tank. There is no way to insert a hose through the neck down into the tank. I would assume the 15' was similar.

Weird , I just stuck my finger in the easy fuel and was able to push back 2 flaps ...i suppose if I wanted to I could simply stick a hose down there ? (or whatever siphoners do to get gas..)

I always add a single sugar cube to the tank every time I fill it up. My car is now immune to the poison, and nobody wants to steal my gas.

I have a locking plug on my 14 GT but not really because I'm worried that someone will try to do something to my car but to keep dirt, water, etc out of the fuel filler tube. Anything that gets on top of that flap could possibly go inside the tank whenever you open that flap. It's a feel good measure more than anything.
