I've never no-lift shifted it or anything.
back in the day they'd toss the Syncros or shave every second tooth off of them
AKA: slick shift

If it has synchro's, the dumbest thing you can do is 'NLS' ha-ha.

Broke mine in my 2011 gt 8 years ago on the 1-2 shift. Absolutely garbage compared to a TR6060. Also took ford 97 days and 3 attempts to "fix" it but it still wasnt right after I got it back so I sold the car.

Did you have a power adder on that car as well? How many years and how much HP?

Definitely don’t do NLS the way the car comes from the factory. An ignition cut of some sort is very necessary to slow things down and allow for seamless shifting. I’ve done it several times now, both before and after building my MT82-D4 and it worked like a charm with 275 milliseconds programmed into the N2MB Wot Box. I won’t make it a habit of doing it though,

All of my S550's have had the 'nibble' - '16 & '19 EB and '19 GT - and when I changed to FRPP 'Carbon Fiber' shift knob on current car it went away. Thought I was crazy until I read others experiences here...

I won’t ever break my MT-82….. because my Mustangs are both automatics. Partly because of the MT-82’s reputation; partly because my knees won’t tolerate constant clutching anymore.

My 2011 6R80? Smooth and bulletproof at 105K.

My 2022 10R80? Great when it’s warm, sucks when it’s cold.

great to hear ! for me, N2MB Wot Box did nothing to improve my times. mainly cause i leave basically off idle now & I can shift super fast. The heavy AF stock flywheel takes care of the rest haha. Got my best 60' leaving at around 2000 rpm lol.

That’s impressive to get out of the home at such a low rpm with a manual. Are you able to run much higher tire pressure to eliminate any potential bogging?

Yes, around 23-30 psi depending on the bite. Need the tires to spin just a little.
So I don't slip the clutch at all. Hammer down and away I go.

Wow! No wonder you’re trapping at 125 mph? More pressure without excessive spin will get it done.

And even suckyer when it overheats. There's another new class action on the 10 speed. Ford just needs to license the gm programming.

Oh, I get it. A man’s gotta do what he‘s got to do, to keep his car intact.
Well I have a certain ET goal in mind. I'm not going to achieve it unless I goto E85.
So..
I picked up GT500 injectors, DW400 + VMP BAP. However I'm not convinced my current tuner is up for the task. So may have to shop around. I'm also NOT a fan of the mpv/hptuners device. So I dunno what to do ha-ha.
