I have no problem with mine during daily routine driving. Driving aggresivley requires touch, and it wont be fast. These stock shifters were meant for around town driving and higway cruising. If you think you can bang gears like an old Top Loader, you're in for a rude awakening, shifts need to be done relatively gently with the stock setup.
You want to be aggressive? Spend the money and buy a quality aftermarket shifter, change fluid, add braided clutch line, Steeda spring and maybe the Steeda tail shaft bushing upgrade, basically all the stuff that has been written about on this forum, alot.
I don't race, so I did the least expensive and easiest to do upgrades, turned out to be just fine.
