Hood wrap - like or no?

Did a little project this morning. Wanted something different and not the traditional straight racing stripes. Matte black with dark red striping. You like ? Or no?

I am not sure why, but this design looks odd to me.
Not a bad idea but somehow they just don't look right to me but I can't figure out why.
OP if you like it that is all that matters.

I did something similar on my old GT500 convertible since it didn't have the traditional stripes. It may work better if yours terminated at the vents like mine did.

vinyl can be polarizing for a lot of people. my budd that works at a sterio shop threatened to flip my car with a fork lift and disown my name from existence if i put white raceing stripes on my blue car. i was pretty shocked... sooo in fear of loosing my connection i assured him i wouldnt get one and instead i would look into a wing instead.... i feel like if you like it dont ask anyone else if they like it too lol... oh mannnnnn then again the voice of reason can save you. imagine all the people who wouldnt buy chrome door trim to apply to every edge or 3/4 of them. if they just had a voice of reason.

I agree. The red stripe is off. It would probably look better if it tightly followed the hood lines and wrapped around the vent edges. I really like the way that it flares at the windshield - OP is on to something that will work with some adjustments.
