I need to respray my hood anyway thanks to stone chips and the paint being so shitty on these cars so not worried about hood paint damage :(

I see them! That would be devilishly difficult to replicate on a painted hood without damaging the finish i'd say. Mounted on the surface looks fine for a good price.

It's the distance to ModUrStang that would be the barrier. Plus i'd have them black and would have to add twin or Supersnake stripes to match...and then we'd be into a whole new world of expense :D
I agree - Folding would be nice, but lets be honest, as I said earlier, you're gonna FK up a painted hood folding it, it'll never be perfect, and as I'm sure most know I have severe OCD with this car, so if something was misaligned, as part of a mod, it'd bug me foreverrrr!

I feel you SteveS trips a long-un but worth it, shame really, a lot of the big modding places are down south, Fortis for my lights, Modurstang for the vents etc. Need a nice midlands place ;)!

Go to the previous page. @Greg _C Is the only person with evidenced pictures. It depends how you 'cut' the hood to how it tapes as the vents are angled. Spogshd cut a small home and used that to mount, whereas Modurstang cut the entire size of the vent and sit it all level and bond it in.

I'll have more prominent pictures of my vents on and in on Wednesday, as mines gloss black on a red car ;)!
I think Gregs look superb, and for me painting them the same colour as the car helps make it look more like stock, for me (just my opinion) black will stand out to much and make them more noticeable

Cheers mate. I'm just trying to establish that they fit better than the Roush vents do. A mob in New Zealand are retro-fitting them and they look, um, crap.
The shape of the leading edge doesn't seem to carry through the rest of the vents edges. Makes it look kinda weird. Call me OCD, but that's a NO from me.

Fitting doesn't look great and they look a little cheap. It might be the pic but they look like similar plastics to the splitter/skirts which is fine for down by the road but wouldn't want it on the hood.

Coming from the OMM ;)!

Fitting on those looks a bit dodgey, and maybe the angle, but slightly wonky.

I think that the none recessed ones look better than stock US ones. Honestly these are so easy to do. If I can figure out how to upload pictures I will, as I fined that harder than fitting vents lol.

Oh they look great, perhaps I should have done mine whilst there also! You probably saw the Lightning pony. Hmmm more money:headbonk:
I did see your car, lovely colour. Liked the rear spoiler - what make is it? Not sure if I will fit one myself but good to see one on a car to help decide. I like the new 2018 wing spoiler I have seen on the GT coupe in some of the new model photos- not sure if anyone does something like that.

Just a quick couple of photos, when I've got time tonight I'll update with all the mods :D. Really happy with the results, Mike did a great job, didn't quite get the shifter correct, but I'll sort that later in the week  You can see the Stanginator clearly, lower GT grill a bit harder to see and I haven't yet got the YouTube skills to show off the lights :D

Frontal view

Under the bonnet :D

Side on :)

Lone Survivor What happened with the shifter. Mike did mine and all seems well. Took a while to get used to the tighter shift but once I did it's wonderful.

He couldn't get the flat blade fitted and there's too much vibration 1st-4th, just needs adjusting and I'll get the guys that did CapitanPug install to sort it out.

Not overly worried about it, however, it shouldn't be like it is ;)
