lol zo6.. you bought yours and still havent gotten it.. damn... yeah i got my gt350 IM and it runs incredibly. i made 443hp and 378tq. and i picked up 63hp at 7900rpm. and around 22 at 6500. also note this is with the stock TB and on E85 tuned by lund. Lund can also tune for the gt350TB. not just JDM. <- they lie.
Jon told me they recommend using the stock TB. Has this changed?

Jon told me they recommend using the stock TB. Has this changed?
yeah it must have because they said when ever im ready to switch to the GT350 TB to go ahead and do it and they can tune it. its not impossible it just takes time.

Holley is responding now. Listed several questions and they have not returned my email yet but they are asking questions as well.


So if Holley is preparing for shipping then where the hell is the article at?

And here is their response I just got.

Andrew,
The 829032 intake are in house and should be shipping out on current orders. If not from the 8 we have on hand then a shipment of 40 are on the way as well for shipping. For your stock fuel system you can use part# AT991986ERL this is a 3/8"s Quick connect with a -8 an male end to thread with the fittings that come with your intake and rails.

That all being said Steve, do you think you will have a package with all the necessary parts once it's all said and done? If it is worth it, I will be ordering from you.

P.S love your guy's catch cans. I replaced my JLT with yours and its deffinately collecting more oil. I was a skeptic at first but after wher I poured out of it, there is no comparison.
They will not. It was designed for the engine only. Not the car it's in.

I still do not get why the fitting I listed would not work.

If it converts the returnless fuel system from quick disconnect 3/8" to 8AN everything else is hoses and fittings unless Holley went and did something dumb but they list the rails as

"EFI Intakes include 3/8" Fuel rail kits (Sniper logo laser engraved)"

which would also work with a 3/8" to 8AN adaptor on the rails.

I am failing to see how adapting the stock fuel system into the rails is so mysterious or wrong as I am thinking it would be.
The pipe thread rails they provide will not work with anything as it was tried to by me. HINT

Not at all. I haven't gotten anyone killed nor would I ever. I would ask you to never compare me or UPR to that witch ever again as serving for 13 years and deploying to Iraq.. I do not take kind to this statement.

I can understand he has his hands tied by the release.

With regards to the parts needed , if you make a kit consisting of ALL parts required you definitely will get more sales. Bottom line this is about money so it doesn't even make sense not to do that vs making everyone buy parts a bits from various vendors.

I'm predicting 10-25 lbs torque loss below 4K and peak hp gain of 35 hp at the top end. Manifolds aren't magic components that make more of everything across the board. If you're expecting gains everywhere just google "supercharger".

Can't even recall the last time I picked up a magazine. After years of spending hours at chapters and even the library reading old issues way back in the day. It's a shame the had to go this route and wait for an article. They would've made more money posting it here on 6g or even in a YouTube video.
When something is built for an engine only and not a certain body style, people will have to do the work to see what actually is needed. I did the homework for them.

I am going to throw John a curve ball and slap the GT-350 TB on this manifold. Lol.

I will say this one last time, if I knew it would take this long I would not have posted this at all. I would have kept my mouth shut. I went off the dates Holley stated. When magazines have rights to the info, thats just how it goes. Has been like that for years. My hands are tied there. Trust me when I say I am looking forward to explaining my own testing that was done. Heck I even swapped to a AirAid CAI and have even more data to release but I am tied to this for now. If people don't want to wait and pay more for a manifold, the CJ, 350, and BOSS are out there. I'm not doing this for sales I'm doing this for tech info.

Well between the adapter to the stock lines and the availability of both NPT and AN fittings I will try to put something together. Even if the crossover line has to go into the rear. I will figure something out.

Your doing what I tried. It's not going to work. Your going to have a bunch of fittings trying to make something work. Just wait and see the easiest route will be with the article. Take my word on this.
