Highflow cats with vortech?

Getting my blower put on. Do I need to gut my cats or go catless or will I be ok with high flow cats?

Cats and a blower don't necessarily go together well, even with what seems like a safe tune I've seen them get blown out/melted.

You don't have to do it immediately, plenty of guys going with no cats for plenty of miles. But eventually they'll give out. Just hope that they break up and shoot out the tailpipe. It may be unlikely but they can melt/collapse, plug the motor and blow it apart. That was enough to scare me into going catless lol.

I had high flows for a while at 750+rwhp but when they came out they were getting pretty beat up.

Can I just buy a catless x pipe from American racing? I can't seem to find out where to buy one from. I go on there website and u have to buy the whole kit. I heard some people gut them out
