Honestly KB has great fit and finnish. They also use high quality parts and have great reliability. This all needs to be noted but to me they, out of all other kits combined, look the furthest from OEM. Not meant to be a knock on them, it's just you mentioned this is important to you. The motor mounts are no big deal actually but I get where you are coming from.

When it comes to OEM integration and looking like it was installed factory in my opinion Whipple takes the cake. No cutting, hi quality parts and looks like it came that way from the factory.

Vortec and the like look great and I'm sure use great parts and have good reliability, they just don't look OEM.

I am only talking about looking the most OEM here and I am not factoring in anything else as this is what seems the most important to the OP.

Jmeo, I have to agree with that honestly. If you look under the hood of a Whipple it will definitely look like more of a Factory option over the KB. KB quality and fit is definitely as good as Whipple, but comparing both under hood the KB looks more.....custom I'd say. If OP wants pics of all of my parts mounted for comparison I'd be happy to take some. Just let me know what you'd like to see.

If OEM fit and finish is what you want, then its whipple.

not sure why the TVS blower is always left out of the m6g debates, but the VMP kit is down right spectacular. the Twin 67mm tb is gorgeous, and everything looks stock under the hood.

Look at post 12, I mentioned VMP.

The OP does not want to cut or grind so both VMP & Roush are out for him.

No one makes a "bad" system.. Each of them has their nuances, but you really can't go wrong with any kit in the PD department.

Well said and I second that [emoji106]

I'm curious about heat soak in the Whipple type blowers. I have two shops here in AZ that claim the Pro Charger/ Vortech style blowers suffer less temp fluctuations. Can somebody address this?
Heat soak isn't bad wih the Whipple. The other day it was 95 degrees in Tampa. I was setting in traffic for 20 mins and my IAT was 118 degrees.

Pretty much all manufacturers have very very high quality kits now.

But, roush is the supplier to ford racing performance parts which is known for their factory fit and finish.
Except you need to cut the K-brace and grind the block in multiple spots. While the parts are OEM type quality, cutting and grinding is not OEM type "fit".

Agreed.. I don't understand why they haven't redesigned the kit to where you don't have to grind on the timing cover.

The lower half and air inlet system (minus the SC inlet adapter) is from Roush and is the same as the FRPP/Roush system). Still need to grind the block, you also need to remove the K-brace.

The SC with the casted inlet certainly looks good and it works well, but still falls into the FRPP/Roush category.

I completely forgot about the K brace, never noticed a difference when it came off. The grinding is so minor, sounds much worse then it really is, small offset considering there are no other modifications that need to be done for this kit. My local shop installed it in less then 2 days, flashed the Lund tune and off I went. During my remote tuning session with Lund, not a single change was made to the original tune, it was dead on, even after datalogs from the strip. Not trying to take away from other manufacturers kits, but the VMP TVS with Lund tune is a sure thing. I've owned a dozen 500hp+ cars, this was the quickest, easiest, and painless upgrade I've done to any of my past cars.

Sounds good, I'm down in Westchase. I'll private message you and we will see what we can do. We can get pics, side by side and some test hits

I am in Trinity (10-15 mins west of Land O' Lakes), with my little ole VMP TVS. We could all meet up, just let me know when!
