Been driving the car for about three weeks now. I notice upon accelerating in gears 1-3 there is this pause between 1500 and 3000 rpm. Almost feels like i am either losing traction or the power somehow not transferring to the wheels for a second or two. I know these are drive by wire but it doesnt have a delay immediately pressing the gas( drive by wire) It is well into the acceleration point. Could a belt be slipping or maybe this is just traction control being over cautious. This is under normal mellow driving conditions.

That is typically torque management not allowing the throttle to open to desired amount by the driver.

Do you find it most noticeable in 1st and 3rd?

I know these Pirelli's just spin with out much of an audible chirp or screech, some folks just don't notice the break in traction, or the wheel hop that is bad in this car. Just an idea.
