I notice on cold mornings its really notchy and takes some effort to get into gear. Once it warms up its butter smooth though and slides right in with no effort. Done it since 0 miles so Im pretty sure theres nothing wrong with it, but was wondering what the long term prognosis is for the synchros etc?

I switched to Royal Purple SyncroMax fluid and it made a BIG improvement in the notchiness when cold.

Other folks swear by BG, Amsoil or Redline manually tranny fluids can't go wrong with any of them.

I went with BG from Optimum Performance, it helped smooth out the gritty feeling you speak of. I agree that any of the good brands will give a nice improvement.

That's what I was thinking too, BG all the way. However I cant seem to find it to save my life. Any ideas where I can get it?
