Not really sure if this is the best spot to post this but it's worth a shot .. ever since I first took possession of the car, I've noticed a noise ONLY WHEN THE WINDOWS ARE UP while accelerating in 1st gear only .. it's not a really loud noise but it's still strange as it doesn't occur in any other gear .. I noticed it first when I got the windows tinted as I was forced to drive with the windows up
.. not sure really how to describe this noise either it's sort of like a grindy mechanical noise .. not sure if it has something to do with the transmission or what ..
also, and maybe related or not, but sometimes when I start the car while it's cold and let it warm up it eventually hits a point where the idle drops down enough to cause a little bit of a belt like noise under the car .. I've read about throw out bearing being the culprit but just trying to get some more information before I end up going to the dealer to fight the good fight .. thanks
