Since I bought my car I've have a low rpm low drivetrain load noise. I purchased it out of state as a certified pre-owned so I still have a powertrain warranty. All the mods currently done were already on the car so it probably shouldn't have been certified by the dealer but they did so good for me. The noise is between roughly 1400-2000 rpm and is worst in 2nd and 4th. Currently have 11,200 miles and according to the service records from the dealer the clutch, flywheel and slave were all done around 5,000 miles. Not sure if this is normal NVH due to the trans mounted shifter or if I should look the have warranty work done by my local dealer? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not normal, maybe due to the aftermarket shifter, which seems to be installed.

Sounds like normal gear noise to me. It’s just more pronounced when you upshift much earlier than you need and the engine is lugging a bit. Try riding out the gears longer and see if the noise disappears.

What clutch did the dealer put in? Sounds like gear rollover which is normal for any solid hub clutch at low rpm.

It was done under warranty so all OEM according to the part numbers on the repair order.

My 2020 GT makes the same exact noise! I tried to get ford to check it out and they said "the noise isn't bad enough to justify taking the transmission out", but I only have like 100 miles of warranty left, so I'm not sure if I should push the issue or live with the noise and pray it doesn't lead to a catastrophic failure of some sort...

I put bolt on power in my 2015 PP mustang AMR tune and now is popping out of second gear if I am in town and just driving in second gear at 30 mph and when I have down shifted to second gear and coming to a stop. Before I added power to the motor it didn't do it. Other wise it shifts just fine.

Bolt on work is Stainless Power catted LTH, MBRP cat back exhaust, DDS one piece driveshaft, CAI, oil catch can, AMR tune. Have not had it on a dyno but it might be close to 450 rwhp.

I am going to put it in the air and check the rear transmission mount and make sure it didn't come lose after the header install.

Do you also have a trans mounted shifter? I had my local dealer listen to my video and they suspect flywheel or input shaft. They also informed me the clutch is not considered a powertrain item and is not a warranty item after 3/36. I'm torn if I should let them tear it down or ride it and see what happens as I have powertrain till 12/27 and I'll be paying out of pocket anyway to do the clutch when it comes apart.

That's where I am at.
Will have the trans pulled next month, hope it is clutch or flywheel. If not must be input shaft, bearings would be my guess.

Ford denied warranty for now, claims the vibrations my Bullitt has are "state of the art", they found it on their compare car also. Considering ~10% MT-82 could be lemons, I don't wonder that their conpare car is doing the same.

From what my dealer said sounds like Ford does everything in their power not to warranty. They said guaranteed Ford will want pics of the tires and inner quarter panels to look for abuse. They said they have seen them go as far as checking YouTube checking for the car on a track.....

Bearings could be a possibility too. Here’s what mine looked like when I pulled them from my 2019 Bullitt with just 5600 miles on the car. See pics in post #82.

Note: I wasn’t having any issues out of my tranny at all. I just decided to improve upon it because I had it out for a clutch swap.
