This will be a long post but here is some quick steps to follow.
What the car had when I bought it: Steeda lowering springs on stock struts with 20x10" rims and 285 35 r20 tires on the front.
Issue I ran into: The insides of the front tires were wearing aggressively and showing wire.
Suggested fix: install adjustable coilovers to remove the toe and some of the camber
What I did: Installed SR Performance Coilovers
New issue: Tires are too wide and rubbing the coilover assembly, cannot adjust spring load or lower car.
My idea: Install 20mm spacers to gain clearance $180
Issue/question concerning my idea: will I rub on the fenders (when turning) because the rims are 20" and 285 tires.
Alternate (expensive) idea: Buy the same style rims in 20x8.5 and install 255 size tires. $1,400
Alternate (mid range) idea: Put the stock assembly with steeda springs back on and install camber plates to bring back stock camber. $550
So, as you can see I am currently down a rabbit hole of unexpected repairs, I'm wondering if anyone has ran 20x10 with 285 tires and 20mm spacers in the front and can provide some input? New wheels and tires would run me about 1,400 and I would rather pay 180 for spacers if the fitment would work correctly. The spring pre load is jacked wayyyy up because the spring will come in contact with the tire otherwise, to set the normal pre load, I must gain clearance, hence the concern. BTW, all of the alignment and adjustments were done by the NTB (national tire and battery) manager, he seemed to know what he was doing but I'm not sure.
