The pin removal does nothing to the headlight. The amber corner of the headlight in 18+ is just a reflector if recall, I’ve had blackout vinyl covering the amber in the headlight for some time now.
The pin removal completely eliminates the amber running light day and night and only retains its...
I keep it on because it's just easier for down shifts, the facts that it absolutely screams with my Headers and MBRP Race exhaust doesn't hurt either. I do need to turn off that hill assist though.
My 19 GT Manual has been recalled but I'm tuned by PBD for a JLT CAI, and Catted Headers. JLT's require a tune and wont start with my stock tune so I'm trying to figure out what route to go.
Im currently running Xforce High flow catted headers and the MBRP Race catback and my cold starts are ridiculously loud. Once i hit over 3k rpm it wails too so I thought about going to the MBRP street but if it's still that loud i'll just save my money and keep it as is.
Agreed, the most difficult part is the pins you have to push in on the side to release the airbag. after that swapping the buttons is very easy with a torx bit. I went with the GT350R steering wheel
An Alcantara steering wheel makes a big difference. When you think about it it's what you interact with most when driving. I installed the GT350R steering wheel at 2k miles and now after 24k miles I've only cleaned it once with Sonax Alcantara Cleaner and it still looks new.
I went with the black out vinyl from Anchor room that just leaves the inside of the tail light showing. Definitely a PIA installing because of the light's angles but worth it. I dont think I've ever seen anyone with these in person besides my car
I've been debating on a new hood for my daily driven 19 Magnetic Metallic colored GT and I would really like to go with a CF hood but I do not have a garage. I've heard people say sitting out in the sun year round will damage/discolor a CF hood so just looking to see if anyone is in the same boat.
Got mine from Leatherseats.com 2 years ago and they’re still holding up well. Got them for under $800 and installed myself after watching a CJPP video.
I started with a 19 Base GT as well. you should check out Leatherseats.com I picked up my front and back seat covers for less than $800 and installed them myself after watching a CJ Pony Parts install video. Took about 4 hours but worth it.
No error codes whatsoever. Definitely easy to put them back in, literally just pop it back into the harness. Get a cheap pin removal set on amazon and it'll save you some time pulling the pin out.
