Hey Guys,
I picked up my 2017 GT350 brand new back in April from a tiny town outside of San Antonio and since have put around 4K miles on it.
Ive noticed a strange issue twice now that makes the car feel like its down down on power.
It seems to have 100HP for about 3 seconds before a switch is flipped and it feels normal again.
Today I figured out how to replicate it 50% of the time.
Can you guys see if your car does this as well or am I having a one off issue.
Either sport or regular mode (doesn't seem to matter).
Traction control on or off (doesnt seem to matter).
Cruise in 2nd gear around 3000-3250 RPM for at least 3 seconds and then floor it.
50% of the time the exhaust screams but the car doesn't really move as it normally does until it hits about 4250 RPM or so. The other 50% of the time it breaks the rear end loose with gobs of power.
Its almost like the variable valve timing is confused whether to activate or not.
