Hello all,
Just looking to gather opinions. I have a budget of about $5000 that I am looking to spend on my car. I do not drag race, I have been to the road course once in four years. Really it’s a date night car, or a nice Saturday morning rip that my car sees. Car is 2021 Mach A10 with 4,200 miles on the clock.
Mods so far:
DHP1 wheels 10.5x19 front 11x19 rear
Steeda ultimate handling springs
Steeda IRS braces
Steeda IRS alignment dowels
Steeda IRS Subframe Bushing Support System
Steeda front and rear sway bars
Steeda billet sway bar brackets
Steeda vertical links
Maximum Motorsport CC plates
JLT oil separator
Ford Performance Air filter
Kooks long tube 1 7/8 green cats
Borla SwitchFire Mid pipe
93 and E85 tunes

Carbon fiber covering all silver in interior except door handles
White Madness Garage Short shifter

As stated basically a street car that plays but not hard. I do enjoy the twisty roads, do not do the stop light to stop light, or strip.

I do not want to go FI at this time, nor is this budget going to be enough to do FI properly.

All input is appreciated. Thanks all and happy driving.

Sounds like the car is done. You didnt list a thing you wanted to change or improve so I assume you’re happy with it all as it sits.

Put the money in the stock market or start a fund to pay for your next ride in a few years. I honestly cant imagine what you’d want that it doesnt already have. Spending big bucks on appearance gimmicks or even more expensive wheels seems like a complete waste, however 5k is about 2 sets of tires so put 2k in the bank for the next set and maybe spend the 3k on a road trip or a few days at the track with an instructor?

I like the idea. I benefit from paid for trips to driving schools and experiences, I am in the tire industry. I would like some more power but FI is not in the books for now.

Thank you for the input!

Absolutely, MR "T" has Rocked the stock market. Invest (Only invest what you can afford to loose) and wait a year or two. Good Luck

I'll second Nightmaremoon's opinion - what do you want to improve / what you think is missing ?

People (most of them) mod cars to mod them, it's their hobby and I completely get it (especially as a man) - it's why aftermarket companies exist, they'll sell you everything with a claim of "improves performance" (haven't seen a more vague term when it comes to automotive parts), but in most cases it does very little to the way car drives.

Car looks fun and very much complete.

crzystang - i own a 21 Mach 1 premium w the HP. sometimes referred to the Chuck Yeager appearance. Fighter Jet Gray w/ Orange accents.

I prefer to keep my Mach as close to original as possible. my mods as follow:

* Steeda Blue Air filter - HP improvement (slight) there is actually a dyno on this air filter
* Steeda X Pipe - Resonator delete. i tried the H pipe but the X Pipe dyno's more HP (sounds crisp)
* Steeda Tune - Specifically for the Mach !
* J&L 3.0 Oil Separator

if you have the Handling Pkg option you really do not need to spend money on suspension improvements given your driving intentions.

The above mods provided performance improvements keeping it a fun car to drive. My Opinion

Sick car man! im starting to put my car together and im starting with the suspension (which it looks like u did as well) then the go fast parts. Ask yourself what part of your car r you not happy with or think could b better and start thr. If you are lucky enough to say your r happy with everything then God bless you man leave the car as is and enjoy. If it was my ride I'd be saving for boost which we all know cost more then 5k 😔

Date night car? Get a nice stereo. Or some cool trim lighting. Or something that makes it a more fun place to be.

Otherwise agree with nightmare. Don't change a thing and save for the next one!

Based on what you have so far only thing I can think of is cosmetic mods like matte carbon fiber steering wheel or the roush hood heat extractors.

But other than that just save it up till you can swing FI

Two piece rotors, Steeda K Member, one piece driveshaft.
Just some items to shed weight.
