I'm hoping somebody can help me figure this out. I bought a used JLT CAI for my 2017 GT PP. The air tube has an extra hose fitting, but the motor and OEM intake tube do not have the additional fitting and hose (see photos).

After looking at other CAI's online. It looks like most CAI for 2017 GT's have this extra fitting. While most CAI for 2018 GT's don't have this extra fitting

Why doesn't my engine have this extra hose?
Is this the wrong CAI for a 2017?
Can I just plug the open hole? What can I plug it with? Did this JLT CAI originally come with an optional plug? Do you think JLT will sell me the missing plug?

Thanks for the help guys!

Cool, thanks for help! I contacted JLT and found out that they do sell the vacuum plug individually. Apparently 2017 GT's built after a certain date did not have the extra vacuum line, and require that plug.
